I've tried the big three and the MF1235 has more horsepower for less money than blue, orange or green, in the same size package. It seems to be well built and will do what I need it to, the closest local dealer is very helpful and assures me parts are just as available as any of the others. I've been doing business with him on my old (very old IH) and am comfortable dealing with him. Can you give me any additional reasons to look elsewhere? The reason I ask is because I don't see much about this brand on this board. Please help.

Absolutely none. I just never looked at MF because I can't even tell you where there is a dealer. The other dealers are all within 30 miles so MF just never got considered. If you're satisfied, why even think about it? ....

In my area there is only one small Massey Fergusen Dealer within 50 miles of me, what he has seems good. But he is so small it makes me nervous just one or two tractors in stock and no other dealers nearby. There are several Deere, New Holland and Kubota Dealers within 25 miles, that's why you hear more about them, not that they are all that much better. If you like it buy particularly if you already know the dealer ....

I own a Kubota, but I think the MF are great machines and I know that my local dealer has a good reputation for service. If you want the work done at an affordable price go with the MF. If it's resale your interested in go w/ the green or orange crew. Remember, it's just a tractor!!!!! ....

I own a MF1220 and have had no problems with it. It seems to be a solid tractor that had a good price compared to the other when I was shopping. ....

I was set to bite on the JD 4100 or NH TC21. Decided to give Massey a look and found just what I was looking for and at a great price in the 1215 GST. A little leass power but more manuverable. I'm 30 hours into it with out any trouble or any loose fluids. I'm lucky in that NH, JD, Kubota, & Massey are well represented in the Denver area. ....
